This week we made butter from double cream. We learned that the cream had to be whisked for about 5 minutes. As we whisked it we talked about how the thick, runny cream changed. We then divided the butter equally into 4 bowls. In 1 bowl we added garlic, in 2 bowls we mixed different herbs into the butter and the fourth bowl was left as ‘butter’. We then tasted the butter to find our favourite.
