Practicing the Play.

Today we have been on the stage, practicing our songs for the play.

Pasta Bake.

Today we made a pasta bake.

We carefully chopped, rosemary, onion and garlic before making a tomato sauce and stirring it all into the pasta.

We then added cheese on top before putting it in the oven.

What do you like to cook at home?

Leaf Prints

Today we collected autumn leaves then sorted them according to our own criteria. We looked at the shape, colour and texture of the leaves before we sorted them. We then used our special leaves to make leaf prints.

Maths And Animations…

Remembrance Assembly

Today we attended a whole school assembly, we observed a minutes silence and laid the poppy wreath that we had made.

What did you write on your poppy?

Remembrance Day Learning.

As part of our learning about Armistice Day we are making a poppy wreath which we will take into our whole school assembly on Monday. We cut out poppies and wrote a message to the soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. Next we will glue the poppies onto the wreath to take into assembly where we will have a minutes silence to remember those who died for us.

Talking About ‘Me’.

Today we used our iPads to video ourselves describing our face. We have been learning to use new vocabulary and have learned words like ‘eye brow’, ‘eye lash’ and ‘cheek’. We will use our new learning next week when we write a poem about ‘Me’!
