Kippers Toy Box.

Today we used our socks that we’ve all brought in, to create a ‘Sock Thing’, just like the one in Kippers Toy Box. We can use him to help us retell the story.

Segmenting and Blending.

Today we painted pictures of Kippers and his toy box.

We then wrote a sentence about our picture by carefully segmenting and blending the words we wanted to use and wrote the graphemes that we needed, using alphabet strips to help us.

Green Screen Recording.

Today we practiced sequencing the story of Kippers Toy Box.

We recorded ourselves onto green screens so we can put pictures of the story behind us showing what happens at the beginning, middle and end of the story.

Today we learnt to sequence the story of Kipper.

We retold the story, remembering to say what happened in the Beginning, Middle, and then the End.
